I was enrolled in the Integrated Sensor System Program as a PhD Student. This NSEARC program focuses in sensor research from various backgrounds such as engineering, medicine and music. Annually, ISS PhD Students organize a Summer School that counts with talks, poster and oral sessions, and career related activities.
For 2012, I was happy with the opportunity to propose the name of Prof. Joseph Paradiso/MIT as a speaker for our summer school. We were pleased to listen to Prof. Paradiso talking about the Responsive Environments Group and Music Controllers.
ISS/NSEARC awarded me with an exchange fund to research at the MIT Media Lab.
